Keep it fun. Know when to stop.
Earth & Eye games are free and use virtual credits with no cash value. Even so, time matters, and games that look like gambling can affect some people. Here is how to stay in control.
Tools on this site
- Session timer. The footer of every page shows how long you have been on the site in this browser tab.
- Hourly reminder. After each full hour, a short message suggests a break.
- Age confirmation. You must confirm you are 18 or over before entering, and sign-up checks your date of birth.
- Ask for a break or a restriction. Send us a message and ask us to pause or restrict your account.
- Delete your account. Sign in and use “Delete my account” on your account page. It is removed immediately.
Healthy habits
- Decide how long you want to play before you start, and stick to it.
- Take a break every hour: stand up, drink some water, look away from the screen.
- Play for enjoyment only. Stop if you feel frustrated, anxious or pressured to continue.
- Don’t play to escape stress, loneliness or low mood, and don’t let play replace sleep, work, family or friends.
- Remember that virtual credits are not money and past results do not predict what comes next.
Signs it may be becoming a problem
- Playing for longer than you meant to, or thinking about playing most of the day.
- Feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut down.
- Hiding how much you play from people close to you.
- Neglecting responsibilities, or feeling low after sessions.
